Hi! Welcome to my website. It is green because my favorite color is green and that’s because I grew up in Massachusetts, in the woods. Trees make me comfortable and a lot of trees are green.
Green is a serene, lively, fresh, joyous, sensitive, contemplative, silly, soulful, and vibrant color. At least that’s how I’d describe green. Coincidentally, that’s how I describe myself too. So if you’re trying to remember or imagine what I’m like as a person, or as an actor and writer… then just think of the color green. Example: “Jason Hoover is a green actor and writer based in Brooklyn, NY.” Another example: “Jason earned his BFA in Drama from NYU Tisch where he studied, greenly (he is an inspired and hardworking actor/writer), at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting, the Experimental Theater Wing, and the International Theatre Workshop in Amsterdam. He also writes green (hilarious and out of the box) sketch comedy. He is an alumnus of NYU’s legacy sketch comedy group: Hammerkatz.”
